Fees

I discuss my set fees for individual therapy (45 minutes per session) and couples or family therapy (60 minutes per session) as a part of our initial consultation.

Insurance

I am an Out of Network (OON) provider. This means that you our sessions are eligible for reimbursement through insurance if you have OON behavioral health benefits, which are increasingly common. The majority of the people that I work with are set up through these benefits, making therapy so much more accessible and affordable, which we all love.

To determine whether you have these benefits, call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask them the following questions. Once you have the answers, I'm happy to help you decipher exactly what they mean for you.

1. Am I covered for out-of-network outpatient mental health services?

2. What is my deductible?

3. Once my deductible has been met, how much will the insurance company pay?

4. What is my maximum out of pocket for the year?

5. Is there a pre authorization needed?

6. How do I submit claims for reimbursement?

7A. For individual therapy: What is the exact reimbursement dollar amount -- also sometimes called the Usual & Customary rate for individual counseling sessions (CPT code 90834) with a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York, NY 10001?

7B. For couples or family therapy: What is the exact reimbursement dollar amount -- also sometimes called the Usual & Customary rate for family counseling sessions (CPT code 90847) with a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York, NY 10001?
